egg collecting

Post by gransfor on June 16th 2008, 16:42

when i was ten years old i collected real birds eggs not a massive collection just one egg of each bird and nothing to rare, i remember selling them when other things came along (women and beer) i have had an interest in wildlife since then but do not collect real eggs any more, i did start a collection of emerald eggs but they stopped making them so when i found avesovum i could not believe my luck so i have started to collect again hopefully they will not go the same way as emerald. Very Happy

Hi gransfor,

Thanks for your post, we really needed some content to get things going.

I can assure you that Avesovum won't go the same way as Emerald. We hope you like the Avesovum website and there are more species on the way.

Hi lorrimer,

First ive heard of Peter Rowland but found an extract from a book he has wrote. http://www.publish.csiro.au/samples/Bowerbirds%20sample.pdf

Hope this helps. Ive also seen an egg on Ebay and the seller claiming it is a Peter Rowland Egg.
So who is Peter Rowland and what is his field of expertise????????
